Avon Fest
Talks and workshops on the land, water and people of our Avon Bioregion. With performances, food and sauna on the banks of the Avon.
Our annual celebration of river lovers on the banks of our Avon to honour the water that connects the communities of our bioregion together.
Talks will be hosted by Dan Burgess of the Spaceship Earth Podcast and Mrs Meg Avon featuring:
Discussions about water quality and our new citizen's scinece testing programme
Food and land hub and farm cluster updates
Art and community outreach - how we want to tell our story
Updates on the Avon Bioregional charter of river rights and the UK River Rights movement
After the talks there will be some interactive workshops about how river guardians or others can get involved with any of the above themes.
We will eat delicious curries and cakes from wonderful local caterers, and the sauna will be going all day next to the river with a clean plunge pool to refresh yourself.
In the evening there will be a set-list of incredible musicians and performers from across the We Are Avon network.
We are looking forward to celebrating with you!
